Before making an art submission to Hunter, please take a moment to understand the relationship between the end product and the type of artwork necessary to produce it. Let this page be your guide, and if you require more information, don't hesitate to contact us.
For most products, Hunter requires vector art files created in Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand. Vector art files are necessary for products that will be produced with spot colors.
Some products, especially those which are photographic, 3-D renderings, or near photographic require high resolution raster images. These images need to be 300 DPI minimum, but 1200 DPI is preferred. Photographs may be be submitted as high resolution flattened files, but other raster format art is preferred to be in layered photoshop format.
Unfortunately, there are a few types of art that we cannot accept. Graphics in Microsoft Word or Powerpoint documents cannot be used. Additionally, Hunter does not utilize Corel software, so if you have a vector based file to send, please export it as an EPS. Graphics from web sites do not have a high enough resolution to separate for printing.
