Product Safety
At Hunter, the safety of our products is a high priority. We strive to sustain the trust of consumers by employing strict standards
that extend from product design to manufacturing and distribution. Where applicable, new products and sources will be tested to
ensure compliance with all federal and state consumer safety standards.
Responsible Manufacturing
We strive to ensure that our products are manufactured in a responsible and ethical manner, and we have continued to evolve
our standards and oversight process to reflect those expectations for labor practices and the environment.
To maintain the company's ongoing commitment to addressing social compliance issues, from employee health and safety,
environmental management and ensuring that employees are treated fairly and with respect, we demand that all

Sustainability
Hunter's sustainability strategy is focused on helping the company minimize its footprint throughout the value chain—from design to manufacturing through disposal of products and waste, and illustrates the importance of personal commitment in business and everyday practices.
Energy:
The company will use energy efficiently and seek to identify cost effective reductions in consumption.
Materials:
Where practical and in the interests of the safety of our customers and employees, Hunter will use inputs
made from recycled material.
Waste:
Hunter will seek to minimize the production of waste in its manufacturing and administrative processes.
Hunter will review processes and products on a continual basis to identify opportunities to reduce or eliminate the production of waste. Where possible, any waste generated will be recycled internally or by a third party.
Extension of Company Values
In order to ensure that outsourcing of inputs to our business does not represent an outsourcing of compromises to our Corporate Responsibility Plan, we request that all suppliers adhere to our supplier Code of Conduct. See appendix A.
Fair Labor
Hunter has committed to being a Category C participant with the Fair Labor Association. This includes participation in the Enhanced Licensee Program that includes:
Completion of an online Licensee Profile and Self Assessment on labor compliance;
The development and adherence to a compliance improvement plan.
A commitment to the five building block obligations:
Adopt and communicate a code;
Train internal compliance staff;
Conduct internal monitoring;
Collect and manage compliance information;
Remediate in a timely manner.
Appendix A
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR HUNTER MFG., LLP Updated October 23, 2012 Employment Relationship:
Hunter Mfg., LLP assumes and applies rules and conditions of employment that respect workers and safeguard the rights
of employees under national and international labor and social security laws and regulations.
No Forced Labor:
Hunter Mfg., LLP does not use forced labor, including prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor or
other forms of forced labor.
No Child Labor:
Hunter Mfg., LLP employees are at least age 16 or over the age for completion of compulsory
education or country legal working age, whichever is higher.
Minimum Wage and Working Hours:
Hunter Mfg., LLP employees are paid at least the minimum wage required by country law and provided legally mandated benefits, including holidays and leaves, and statutory severance when employment ends.
Hunter Mfg., LLP employees do not work in excess of hours allowed by the laws of the manufacturing country.
No Discrimination:
Hunter Mfg., LLP employees are not subject to discrimination in employment, including hiring, compensation, promotion or discipline, termination or retirement, on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation,
nationality, trade union affiliation, political opinion, social or ethnic origin or any other status protected by country law.
Harassment:
Hunter Mfg., LLP employees are treated with respect and dignity. Employees are not subject to physical,
sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.
Safe Workplace:
Hunter Mfg., LLP provides a safe and hygienic workplace setting and takes necessary steps to prevent
accidents and injury arising out of, linked with or occurring in the course of work or as a result of the operation of supplier’s facilities.
Hunter Mfg., LLP has a safety plan to identify potential hazards and implement counter measures to minimize risk to employees.
Women’s Rights:
Female workers shall have the same work opportunities as men, without arbitrary restrictions on the types of jobs or special limits on hours of work; Hunter Mfg., LLP will not use criteria related to marital status or reproductive status as conditions of employment; new mother’s will be entitled to leaves of absence (with the right to return to work) for childbirth and recovery from childbirth.
Freedom of Association is Respected:
To the extent permitted by the laws of the manufacturing country,
Hunter Mfg., LLP respects the right of its employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining. This includes the right to
form and join trade unions and other worker organizations of their own choosing without harassment or retaliation.
Environmental Impact:
Hunter Mfg., LLP protects human health and the environment by meeting applicable regulatory
requirements including air emissions, solid/hazardous waste and water discharge. Hunter Mfg., LLP adopts reasonable measures to
mitigate negative operational impacts on the environmental and strives to continuously improve environmental performance.
